Correct option is B

Given:

a sin q=b cos qa\space sin\space q=b\space cos\space q​​

a sin3 q+b cos3 q=sin qcos qa\space sin^3\space q+b\space cos^3\space q=sin\space q cos\space q​​

Formula Used:

sin2θ+cos2θ=1\sin^2 \theta + \cos^2 \theta =1​​

Solution:

a sin q=b cos qa\space sin\space q=b\space cos\space q.....(1) 

a sin3 q+b cos3 q=sin qcos qa\space sin^3\space q+b\space cos^3\space q=sin\space q cos\space q...(2)

(a sin q)( sin2 q)+b cos3 q=sin qcos q(a\space sin\space q)(\space sin^2\space q)+b\space cos^3\space q=sin\space q cos\space q 

From eq.(1)

(b cos q)( sin2 q)+b cos3 q=sin qcos q(b\space cos\space q)(\space sin^2\space q)+b\space cos^3\space q=sin\space q cos\space q​​

(b cos q)( sin2 q+ cos2 q)=sin qcos q(b\space cos\space q)(\space sin^2\space q+\space cos^2\space q)=sin\space q cos\space q​​

(b cos q)(1)=sin qcos q(b\space cos\space q)(1)=sin\space q cos\space q​​

b=sin qb=sin\space q​​

Then a=b cos qsinq=cosqa =\frac{b\space \cos \space q}{\sin q} = \cos q

Then (a2+b2)=sin2q+cos2q=1Then \ (a^2 + b^2 ) = \sin^2 q + \cos^2 q =1​​
