Given : 

6(x+4) =  67  

Concept used: 

an = ab 

For same base we can compare the power

n = b 

Solution:

6(x+4) = 67 

Base are same, So

x+4=7x + 4 = 7 

x=74x = 7 - 4  

x=3x = 3 

Thus, the value of x is 3.
