Question

Find the total surface area of cube whose volume is 64 m³.

A.

64 m²

B.

96 m²

C.

36 m²

D.

25 m²

Correct option is B

Given:
Volume of the cube = 64 m³
Formula Used:
Volume of a cube = side³
Total Surface Area (TSA) of a cube = 6 × side²
Solution:
Volume of the cube = 64 m³
side³ = 64
=> side = ∛64 = 4 m
Now,
TSA = 6 × side²
= 6 × 4²
= 6 × 16
= 96 m²
