Given:

Principle(P) = ₹3000

Rate(R) = 8%

Time Days = 7(Feb) + 31 (March) + 23 (April) = 61 days

Days convert into year 

As 2024 is leap year So
T=61366T = \frac{61}{366} years

Formula used :

SI=P×R×T100SI =\frac{ P \times R\times T}{100}  

Solution:  

Substituting the values in the formula;

SI=3000×8×61366100SI = \frac{3000\times 8 \times \frac{61}{366}}{100} 

SI=3000×8×61100×366SI = \frac{ 3000 \times 8 \times 61}{100 \times 366} 

SI=146400036600SI = \frac{1464000}{36600} 

SI40SI \approx 40 

The simple interest is ₹40
