Solution:  

According to the question 

Loss=111 cost priceLoss = \frac{1}{11} \ cost \ price   

Let the cost price = 11x 

Then the selling price = 11x - x = 10x 

10x = Rs. 10 , x = 1 

Then cost price of the article = 11x = Rs.11
