Concept:

To put in ratio the values must be of the same unit / same type

Here, jumps will be either for the A or the B.

speed=Distancetimespeed = \frac{Distance}{time}​​

∴ speed ∝ distance 

Solution:

7 jumps of A→ 5 jumps of B

8 jumps of the A → ((57)×8)((\frac{5}{7}) × 8)​ jumps of the B

407\frac{40}{7}​ jumps of B

∴The required ratio is (407):6(\frac{40}{7}) : 6​​

= 20 : 21

∴ The ratio of the speed of A and B is 20 : 21.
