Since the speed remains the same, the time taken is directly proportional to the distance:

Time for 6 km=(Time for 2.5 km×62.5)\text{Time for 6 km} = \left( \frac{\text{Time for 2.5 km} \times 6}{2.5} \right)

Time=(256×6)2.5=1506×2.5=15015=10 minutes\text{Time} = \frac{\left( \frac{25}{6} \times 6 \right)}{2.5} = \frac{150}{6 \times 2.5} = \frac{150}{15} = 10 \text{ minutes}
