SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria are different for different positions for which the candidates are selected through the SSC CGL 2024 Exam. Three parameters of SSC CGL eligibility include nationality, age limit, and educational qualification on which a candidate is judged to be eligible for the SSC CGL Exam. SSC CGL Age Limit Relaxation

As per government guidelines, there is an age relaxation in SSC CGL 2024 for the reserved section of candidates. The Age Relaxation is given in the table below:

SSC CGL Nationality/Citizenship

According to the SSC CGL Eligibility a candidate must be:
  • A Citizen of India (or)
  • A Citizen of Nepal (or)
  • A Citizen of Bhutan (or)
  • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India.
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

SSC CGL Educational Qualification
