    SSC CGL Eligibility 2025, Age Limit, Qualification, Nationality

    The SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2025 includes age limit, educational qualification, nationality, and physical measurement. Only those candidates who are eligible as per conditions set by the Commission can appear for the exam.     The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC CGL Exam for Combined Graduate Level vacancies.     SSC CGL Nationality/Citizenship

    According to the SSC CGL Eligibility a candidate must be:

    • A Citizen of India (or)
    • A Citizen of Nepal (or)
    • A Citizen of Bhutan (or)
    • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India.
    • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

    SSC CGL Physical Standards/Measurements

    In addition to other requirements, SSC CGL candidates must meet certain physical fitness standards. These criteria apply to candidates applying for specific posts.

    Physical Standards for SSC CGL Eligibility

    The physical standard criteria for male and female candidates are given below. It includes height, chest (male only), and weight measurements. Certain posts like Inspector (Central Excise/Examiner/Preventive Officer/Inspector & Sub-Inspector in CBN) require candidates to meet specific physical fitness standards including height, weight, and chest measurements.
