    Steps To Fill Out the SSC CGL Application Form 2026

    Candidates are required to follow these steps to apply online for the SSC CGL 2026. Below are the steps that one needs to follow for successful online registration for the exam:

    1. Register on the SSC Website (One-Time Registration – OTR)

    • Visit ssc.gov.in.
    • Click "Login/Register" and complete the OTR form (basic personal and academic details).
    • After submitting, you’ll receive a Registration ID and Password

    2. Fill Out the Application Form

    • Log in using your credentials.
    • Fill in all required fields: education, job preferences, personal info.

    Photograph

    • The photograph must be clicked in front of a white colour or light-coloured background and must be between 4 kb to 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.

    Signature

    • The signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature must be in jpg format and it should be between 1 kb to 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

    SSC CGL Application Fee 2026

    The required Application Fee is Rs 100/-  and it can be paid through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card.
