Steps to Apply For LIC Assistant Administrative Officer

• Visit the official LIC website (www.licindia.in) → Careers section.
• Click on “Recruitment of AAO 2025” and complete New Registration.
• Fill the application form with personal, academic, and contact details.
• Upload scanned photo, signature, thumb impression, and declaration.
• Pay the application fee online (Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI).
• Submit the form and download/print the confirmation for future use.

LIC AAO Application Fees Category Wise

After completing the application form, candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 700/-. The payment can be made online using internet banking, debit/credit cards, UPI, or any other mode of payment accepted by the board.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

LIC AAO Age Limit (As on 1/8/2025)

Generalist post: The candidate must be at least 21 years old as of 1st August 2025. The upper age limit is 30 years as of 1st August 2025. This means applicants should have been born between 2nd August 1995 and 1st August 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Specialist Post: The post-wise age limit varies in the specialist cadre. Check the table below.

LIC AAO Education Qualification

Generalist posts: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution approved by the Government of India or relevant regulatory authorities. Proof of result declaration must be submitted at the time of the interview.

LIC AAO Salary Structure

The basic pay for LIC AAO 2025 is Rs. 88,635 per month in the pay scale of Rs. 88,635–1,69,025 plus admissible allowances as per rules. At the starting level, the total salary, including allowances like House Rent Allowance (HRA) and City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) will be around Rs. 1,26,000 per month in an ‘A’ Class city. In addition, employees will also get several benefits such as a contributory pension, gratuity, leave travel concession (LTC), medical benefits, insurance cover, vehicle loan facility, meal coupons, reimbursement for mobile/briefcase/furniture, maid allowance, and other perks as per LIC rules.

LIC AAO 2025 Selection Process

There are three stages in the LIC AAO Selection Process as discussed in the table below.

1. Marks in English will not be counted for ranking in both Phase 1 and Phase 2
2. Candidate MUST pass each Section separately and should also obtain minimum marks in the aggregate to qualify for the online examinations (Preliminary and Main) and the interview
