The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board (JEEB) has released the Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) and General Nursing and Midwifery Courses (GNM) Notification. Candidates who submitted their online application before the 15 September can now check the official exam date and plan their preparation schedule.
Steps to Apply for WB ANM GNM 2025
Candidates interested in applying for WB ANM GNM 2025 can follow the below mentioned steps to submit their online application. These steps provide an outline for filling the online application.
- Personal Details: Enter details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, identification type & number, present & permanent address, mobile number, and email ID.
Caution: Be careful while entering name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, and domicile, as these cannot be edited later. - Password Creation: Set a password and submit the registration.
- Application Number: A unique application number will be generated and displayed on the screen. It will also be sent via SMS/email to the registered contact details.
- Password Recovery: If the password is forgotten, recover it using the “Forgot Password” option. No other recovery option is available.
- Security Note: Do not share your password. The Board will not be responsible for any changes resulting from sharing the password.
- Provide information regarding domicile, category, PwD status, family income status, religion, nationality, academic details, etc.
- Select any four examination zones in the order of preference and submit the application.
- Upload a recent colour photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 to 200 KB). Upload your signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 to 30 KB).
- Pay Exam fees via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, QR Code, or UPI. Additional bank service charges may apply.
- After completing all steps, download the ‘Confirmation Page’.
- The commission will provide some time to correct or edit the application. Non-Editable Details: Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Gender, Domicile, and Date of Birth cannot be corrected after registration. No corrections will be accepted after the correction period.

WB ANM GNM Selection Process 2025
The selection process of WBJEEB ANM includes two stages i.e Written exam (OMR based), Document Verification and medical examination. The candidates who clear the written exam will be shortlisted based on their performance. A General Rank Merit list will be released and all the selected candidates will be called for Document Verification.
WB ANM GNM Exam Pattern
The Selection process includes OMR based examination. The WB ANM GNM 2025 Exam Date is announced so all the aspirants should go through the detailed syllabus and exam pattern shared in this article. - The exam paper is divided into two categories
- The category 1 includes 85 questions for 85 marks. For each incorrect answer -1/4th will be deducted.
- The category 2 consists of 15 questions for 30 marks. This category do not attract any negative marking.
