UP Police SI Eligibility Criteria 2025
The UP Police SI Eligibility Criteria 2025 define the essential qualifications that candidates must fulfill to apply for the Sub-Inspector positions. These criteria cover aspects such as nationality, educational background, age limit, and application fee. Only candidates who meet all the specified requirements will be eligible to take part in the recruitment process.
Nationality:
- Must be an Indian citizen, or
- Tibetan refugee (arrived before Jan 1, 1962), or
- Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with valid eligibility certificate.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized Indian university.
- Candidates appearing in final exams are not eligible.
- It is mandatory to upload the graduation mark sheet.
- If the graduation degree is not available, then a provisional graduation degree will have to be uploaded. If a provisional graduation degree is also not available then candidates will upload their mark sheets instead.
- It will be mandatory for the candidates to produce the original graduation degree along with the graduation mark sheets at the time of verification of records and physical standard test.
Preferred Qualifications (for tie-breaks only):
- DOEACC ‘O’ level certificate, or
- Minimum 2 years in the Territorial Army, or
- NCC ‘B’ certificate.
