OICL Assistant Exam Date 2025
The OICL Assistant Exam Dates 2025 have been officially announced. The Tier I (Prelims) exam is scheduled for 7th September 2025, followed by the Tier II (Mains) exam on 28th October 2025. Candidates who qualify for both stages will be called for the Regional Language Test, for which the dates will be announced later. Aspirants are advised to start their preparation in advance and keep checking the official website for further updates.
OICL Assistant Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria required for the Assistant post. The criteria include age limit, qualification, and nationality. As of now, we have discussed the criteria briefly, and we will share the details after the detailed notification PDF is released.
OICL Assistant Nationality
To be eligible for the OICL Assistant Recruitment 2025, candidates must be citizens of India. This is a mandatory requirement as per the recruitment guidelines. Candidates may be required to present valid proof of Indian nationality during the document verification process.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not more than 30 years old. Only those born between 31st July 1995 and 31st July 2004 (inclusive of both dates) are eligible to apply.

OICL Assistant Qualification Requirement (31/7/2025)
A candidate must have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. The candidate should have studied English as one of the subjects at the SSC, HSC, Intermediate, or Graduation level. They must have the certificate to prove they passed the required exam by 31st July 2025.
Language Proficiency
Also, it is necessary to know how to read, write, and speak the regional language of the State or Union Territory they are applying for. A language test will be conducted before the final selection to check the candidate’s knowledge of the regional language. Candidates who do not qualify in the regional language test will be disqualified.

OICL Assistant Salary Structure
The OICL Assistant Salary has been notified along with the official notification. The monthly pay scale is Rs.22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)- 26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)-38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)- 49765-2500(5)-62265. The monthly salary includes basic salary and allowances like Dearness allowance, HRA, Special allowance, etc. The salary is Rs. 40,000 approximately for a month.
OICL Assistant Probation Period
Newly hired employees will be on a probation period of at least 6 months. During this time, their performance will be reviewed. If an employee does not meet the company’s expectations, the probation period may be extended.
