IBPS RRB Agriculture Officer Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy Science, Animal Husbandry, Forestry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, or any related field. The degree should be from a university recognized by the Government of India.

Work Experience

Candidates applying for the Agriculture Officer post under Scale II must possess a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the relevant agricultural field. This experience should ideally involve hands-on knowledge or exposure to agriculture-related practices or services.

Age Limit

As of 1 September 2025, the applicant must be at least 21 years old and not more than 32 years old. Candidates born earlier or later than the defined age bracket will not be eligible for the recruitment process.

Age Relaxation

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable to reserved categories. SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5 years, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) get 3 years, and PwD candidates are eligible for up to 10 years of relaxation, subject to proof.

IBPS RRB AO Notification 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for the IBPS RRB AO (Scale II) post is designed to evaluate both the technical knowledge and the interpersonal skills of the candidates.
