English Grammar Solution

S1. Ans.(c)
Sol. The correct answer is option c.
Replace ‘Best’ with ‘Better’ to make the sentence grammatically and contextually correct.
Comparative adjectives are used to compare differences between the two objects they modify (larger, smaller, faster, higher). They are used in sentences where two nouns are compared, in this pattern.
Noun (subject) + verb + comparative adjective + than + noun (object).
In the given sentence, comparison is being made between two nouns (YOU AND I) hence, usage of the comparative form ‘Better’ is appropriate.

Who – It is a subject pronoun, meaning it is used in a sentence or clause as a subject. (The subject of a sentence is the one doing the action.)
