CTET 2024 Exam Pattern

As per the CTET Exam Pattern 2024, there will be two papers i.e. CTET Paper 1 & CTET Paper 2.

  • Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
  • Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Note: A person who intends to teach for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

Note: Mathematics & Science- 30 MCQs each -60 Marks Or Social Studies/Social Science -60 MCQs -60 Marks (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher). There is no penalty for any wrong answers.

CTET 2024 Cut-Off

CTET 2024 Off Marks is 60% marks for the general category candidates. Therefore, the candidates belonging to the general category must score 90 marks out of a total of 150 marks. The CTET 2024 Off Marks for the OBC category /SC category /ST category is 55% marks. In other words, candidates belonging to the OBC category, SC category, and ST category must secure 82 marks out of a total of 150 marks to become CTET qualified.
