Tamil Language Eligibility Test [Common for Open Quota and Departmental Quota Candidates] :

• The Tamil Language Eligibility Test is qualifying in nature. It will consist of objective type questions of 1 mark each.
• The candidate has to obtain minimum 40 marks (40%) in Tamil Language Eligibility test, for him/her to be eligible for evaluation of his/her main examination OMR answer sheet.
• part 1 exam = 1hr 40 min
• TNUSRB SI full length test GENERAL TAMIL = part 1 exam eligibility test
• POSITIVE MARK PER QN.= 1; NEGATIVE MARK PER QN. =0
• PASS MARK= 40 OUT OF 100

Part II

1. Main Written examination [For Open Quota Candidates]:

The Main Written examination for Open Quota Candidates will be for 70 marks consisting 140 objective type questions of ½ mark each. The duration of examination will 2 ½ Hours. The candidates should get a minimum of 25 marks to qualify in the written examination. It will consist of :

Part – A – General Knowledge (40 Marks – 80 Questions)

Part – B – Psychology Test (30 marks – 60 Questions)

Important Points:

1. All questions will be bilingual i.e., they are available in both the English and Tamil languages in gk part and psychology part of paper 2.
2. The minimum qualifying mark for Tnusrb si Examis 25 out of 70.
