What Happens After the RBI Grade B Result 2025 Announcement?

​The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the Phase 2 Exam Dates for the Grade B Officer Recruitment 2025. The Phase 2 exam for the General stream will be conducted on 6th December 2025, while the DEPR (Department of Economic & Policy Research) and DSIM (Department of Statistics & Information Management) exams are scheduled for 7th December 2025. Candidates who qualified in the Phase 1 Exam, held on 18th and 19th October 2025, are eligible to appear for this next stage.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam Pattern 2025

The RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam 2025 is a descriptive and objective type examination conducted online. It tests candidates’ analytical, writing, and conceptual understanding based on the stream they have applied for.
For General (DR) Post:

• Paper I – Economic & Social Issues (ESI): Objective + Descriptive
  
• Paper II – English (Writing Skills): Descriptive (Essay, Precis, Comprehension)
  
• Paper III – Finance & Management (F&M): Objective + Descriptive
  
• Each paper carries 100 marks and lasts for 90 minutes.
  

For DEPR & DSIM Posts:

• The exam includes subject-specific descriptive papers based on Economics and Statistics.
  
• Candidates who qualify in Phase 2 will be shortlisted for the Interview round, which carries 75 marks.
