Question

A.

38

B.

43

C.

41

D.

35

Correct option is A

Given:

The number divided by each of the numbers 12, 18, 21 and 28

Solution:

According to the question,

LCM of (12, 18, 21 and 28) = 7 ×\times 4 ×\times 9 = 252

According to the question,

The number should be = 252k + 3,

This number should also be close to 1225

when k = 5, then 252k+3 is:

=>252×5+3=1260+3\Rightarrow 252×5+3 = 1260+3

= 1263

The number to be added:

1263-1225 = 38

Thus the answer is 38.
