Solution:

Substituting the values in the formulas we get:

Successive Discount = $$15+10 - \frac{(15)(10)}{100}$$​​

= 25 - 1.5

= 23.5%

Now 23.5% and 8%

= $$23.5+8 - \frac{(23.5)(8)}{100}$$​​

= 31.5 - 1.88

= 29.62%
