Question

There are five girls in a group. K is second tallest. P is taller than M. R is taller than M. N is taller than P. Which of the following sequence about their height is not possible?

A.

N > K > R > P > M

B.

R > K > N > P > M

C.

N > K > P > R > M

D.

R > K > P > N > M

Correct option is D

Given:
K is second tallest.
_ > K
P is taller than M.
P > M
R is taller than M.
R > M
So,  P > R > M Or R > P > M
N is taller than P.
N > P
So, N > P > R > M Or R > N > P >  M
From the above - possible arrangement will be -
N > K > R > P > M
R > K > N > P > M
N > K > P > R > M
Thus, the option (d) R > K > P > N > M will not be the arrangement because N is taller than P (N > P).
Correct answer is (d).
