Given:

Sum of three distinct prime numbers is 44

Solution

All prime number except 2 are odd numbers

And sum of three odd numbers can never be even hence 2 is one the three prime numbers.

So the sum of other two is 44 -2 = 42

There are three possibilities like

5 and 37

11 and 31

19 and 23

So highest possible number is 37
