Given :

HCF ×\times LCM =  48 

Two number difference = 13

Formula used : 

HCF×LCM=Product ofnumberHCF \times LCM = Product \ of number

Solution: 

Let the two number be x and y.

x×y=48x \times y = 48 

xy=13(given)x - y = 13 (given) 

Factors of x and y = 48 are ( 1, 48), (2, 24), (3, 16), (4, 12), (6, 8)

This only pair which satisfies both the condition is  (3, 16)
