Price of sugar increased by 22.5%

Solution:

Let the price of CNG be Rs100

Increased price = 100 + 22.5% of 100  = Rs. 122.5

Reduction on Rs. = 122.5 - 100 = Rs. 22.5​​

Reduction on Rs 100 = 22.5122.5×100=18.37%\frac{22.5}{122.5}\times 100 = 18.37\%
