Solution:

Let the price of commodity be Rs100

Increased price = 100+ 22% of 100  = Rs122

Reduction on Rs 122= Rs 22

Reduction on Rs 100 =22122×100=18.03% \frac{22}{122}\times 100 =18.03\%​​
