Let the greater number =x + 5

According to question


​$$\frac{x - 25}{(x + 5) + 20} = \frac{1}{2}$$

​
2(x - 25) = 1(x + 25)
2x - 50 = x + 25
2x - x = 25 + 50
x = 75
Thus, the smaller number is x = 75. The greater number is:
x + 5 = 75 + 5 = 80
