The average weight of Mohammad, Ashish and Kiran is 46 kg. Average of Mohammad and Ashish is 40 kg and that of Ashish and Kiran is 42 kg. What is the weight of Ashish(in Kg).

Given:
Average of three = 46
Average of M & A = 40
Average of A & K = 42
Formula Used:

Solution:
M + A + K = 46 × 3 = 138......(1)
M + A = 40 × 2 = 80............(2)
A + K = 42 × 2 = 84.........(3)
Add equation 2 and 3
M + 2A + K = 164
Subtract from equation 1
A = 164 − 138 = 26
