Given:​

Solution:​

​$$\frac{0.8×0.8×0.8-0.7×0.7×0.7}{0.8×0.8+0.56+0.7×0.7}$$

=$$\frac{0.512-0.343}{0.64+0.56+0.49}$$

=$$\frac{0.169}{1.69}$$ = 0.1

Alternate Method:​

Let a = 0.8 and b = 0.7.

​$$\frac{a^3 - b^3}{a^2 + ab + b^2}$$​​

​$$=\frac{(a - b)(a^2 + ab + b^2)}{a^2 + ab + b^2}$$​​

= a - b

= 0.8 - 0.7 = 0.1
