Correct option is A
Yes, the SBI PO exam is considered moderately to highly tough, primarily due to the high level of competition and the multi-phase selection process. Every year, lakhs of candidates apply for a limited number of vacancies, which increases the difficulty level. The exam is designed to test a candidate's logical reasoning, numerical ability, English comprehension, banking awareness, and decision-making skills.
The Preliminary exam is relatively easier but has a very high cut-off due to the number of applicants. The Main exam, however, is more challenging. It includes advanced-level Data Interpretation, complex reasoning puzzles, and descriptive writing, which require in-depth preparation and time management.
What makes it tougher is that only a small percentage of candidates reach the final Interview stage. That said, with consistent preparation, mock test practice, and a clear understanding of concepts, many candidates successfully crack SBI PO each year—even in their first attempt. So while the exam is tough, it is very much crackable with the right strategy.
