Formula Used:

Selling Price = Marked Price - Discount

Solution:

Let the marked price of article be x

Discount = 12% of x = 0.12x

Ram savings :-  0.12x  = 600

x = ₹5000

Selling price = 5000 - 600 = ₹4400
