Formula used:

If x is a greatest integer such that:

n < x < n + 1 then:

=> [x] = n

Solution:

:-1 < (-1/4) < 0

=> [4254 \frac{2}{5}​] = 4

=> [2] = 2

Now the required sum [(12)]+[425]+[2][(\frac{-1}{2})] + [4 \frac{2}{5}] + [2]​:

= -1 + 4 + 2
