(4 – 12 ÷ 16) × 8 + 5​
Follow BODMAS rule,

Logic: change mathematical sign, then
(4 × 12 + 16) ÷ 8 – 5​
​= (48+16)÷8–5​​
​= (64)÷8–5
​= 8–5
= 3
