Question

If a/b = 0.75, then the value of (2a+b)/(2a-b)+4/9 is:

A.

41/9

B.

43/9

C.

47/9

D.

49/9

Correct option is D

SOLUTION:
a/b = 0.75
= a/b = 3/4
∴ By putting a = 3x and b = 4x in the given expression
we get => (2 × 3x + 4x)/(2 × 3x -4 x) + 4/9
=> 10/2 + 4/9
=> 5495\frac{4}9
= 49/9
