Number of students: 5, 6, 3, 1

Formula Used:

Mean=(X×f)f\text{Mean} = \frac{\sum (X \times f)}{\sum f}
Where:
X = Marks obtained
f = Frequency (number of students)
Solution:
Total Marks obtained by the number of students:
25 × 5 +30 × 6 +35 × 3+40 × 1= 125 + 180 +105 + 40 = 450
Sum of frequencies (number of students): 5 + 6 + 3 + 1 = 15
Mean = 45015\frac{450}{ 15} = 30
