Solution: 

Applying the formula;

144=180(n2)n 144n180n=2×180 36n=2×180 n=2×18036 n=10144 = \frac{180(n-2)}{n} \\ \ \\ 144n -180n = -2\times 180 \\ \ \\ 36n = 2 \times 180 \\ \ \\ n = \frac{2 \times 180}{36} \\ \ \\ n = 10

Thus, the number of side of polygon is 10
