A.

25%

B.

50%

C.

4367%43 \frac {6}{7}\%

D.

3313%33\frac 13 \%

Correct option is D

Given:
Due to decrease in manpower, the production in a factory decreases by 25%.
Solution:
Let the total amount of production is 100 units.
So, new production after decrease = 10025100×100=75units\frac{100-25}{100}×100=75 units
Units to cover with increase in working hours = 100 – 75 = 25 units
Now, Percentage increase in working hours = 2575×100=1003\frac{25}{75}×100=\frac{100}{3}
Percentage increase in working hours = 3313% \frac13\%
