    C.

    D.

    265 : 159

    Correct option is D

    Given:

A table showing pass percentages and the number of failed students for five subjects.
    Formula Used:

    Total Students=Failed Students100Pass %×100\text{Total Students} = \frac{\text{Failed Students}}{100 - \text{Pass \%}} \times 100
    Solution:
    Maths:
    Total Students =10510065×100=10535×100=300 \frac{105}{100 - 65} \times 100 = \frac{105}{35} \times 100 = 300

    Passed Students = 300 - 105 = 195
    Hindi:
    Total Students =12010080×100=12020×100=600 \frac{120}{100 - 80} \times 100 = \frac{120}{20} \times 100 = 600
    Passed Students = 600 - 120 = 480
    English:
    Total Students =36010040×100=36060×100=600\frac{360}{100 - 40} \times 100 = \frac{360}{60} \times 100 = 600
    Passed Students = 600 - 360 = 240
    Psychology:
    Total Students=10010075×100=10025×100=400= \frac{100}{100 - 75} \times 100 = \frac{100}{25} \times 100 = 400
    Passed Students = 400 - 100 = 300
    Biology:
    Total Students =11010050×100=11050×100=220 \frac{110}{100 - 50} \times 100 = \frac{110}{50} \times 100 = 220
    Passed Students = 220 - 110 = 110

    Total Passed Students:

    195 (Maths) + 480 (Hindi) + 240 (English) + 300 (Psychology) + 110 (Biology) = 1325

    Total Failed Students:

    105 (Maths) + 120 (Hindi) + 360 (English) + 100 (Psychology) + 110 (Biology) = 795

    Total PassedTotal Failed=1325795=265159\frac{\text{Total Passed}}{\text{Total Failed}} = \frac{1325}{795}= \frac{265}{159}

Thus, the ratio of total students who passed to total students who failed is 265:159.
