Formula used: 

Selling price=Cost price+Profit percentage100×Cost price\text{Selling price} = \text{Cost price} + \frac{\text{Profit percentage}} {100}\times \text{Cost price} 

Solution:  

Applying the formula: 

Selling price=760+30100×760\text{Selling price} = 760 + \frac{30}{100}\times760 

=760+(0.30×760) = 760 + (0.30\times 760) 

=760+228 = 760 + 228 

=988= 988 

Thus, the shopkeeper should sell the article for Rs.988 to make a 30% profit.
