    B.

    1019% 10\frac{1}{9}\%

    C.

    1013% 10\frac{1}{3}\%

    D.

    1119% 11\frac{1}{9}\%

    Correct option is D

    Given:

    Loss of businessman on selling price = 12.5%

    Formula Used:

    Loss%=LossCost Price×100Loss \% = \frac{Loss}{Cost\ Price} \times 100

    Loss = CP - SP

    Solution:

    Let the selling price be 100

    Then loss on selling price = 12.5% of 100 = 12.5

    CP = SP + Loss  = 100 + 12.5 = 112.5

    Loss Percentage =12.5112.5×100=1009=1119% \frac{12.5}{112.5} \times 100 =\frac{100}{9}= 11\frac{1}{9}\%
