This workshop is designed to help students master the fundamentals of Power BI and create powerful visualizations and dashboards. The workshop will begin with an introduction to Power BI and its components, including Power Query and Power Pivot. Participants will learn how to load, transform, and model data using Power Query, and how to create powerful visualizations using Power BI Desktop. They will also learn how to share and collaborate on Power BI reports and dashboards.

Participants will receive a detailed workshop manual with step-by-step instructions and sample datasets. The workshop will be delivered in a hands-on format, with a mix of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.

About the Mentor:

• Rutvik Acharya: has over 11 years of experience in Data Science and Analytics, and currently holds the position of Senior Data and Applied Scientist at Microsoft. He has managed various strategic projects from start to finish and has expertise in several tools and techniques such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Statistics, Machine Learning, and Deployment. Additionally, he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with industry forums and aspiring professionals interested in this field.
