എല്ലാ വർഷവും സെപ്റ്റംബർ 1 മുതൽ 7 വരെ ദേശീയ പോഷകാഹാര വാരം ആചരിച്ചുവരുന്നു. 1982 മുതലാണ് ദേശീയ പോഷകാഹാര വാരം ആചരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത്. അവശ്യ പോഷകങ്ങളാൽ സമ്പന്നമായ ആരോഗ്യകരമായ ഭക്ഷണങ്ങൾ കഴിക്കാൻ ആളുകളെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായിട്ടാണ് ദേശീയ പോഷകാഹാര വാരം ആചരിക്കുന്നത്.
