There are 2 stages in the SSC Selection Post-Selection Process 2026, which are:

SSC Selection Post Phase 14 2026 Exam Pattern
- There will be 100 MCQs for 2 marks each.
- The duration of the test will be 60 minutes (1 hour) and 80 minutes for the candidates belonging tothe scribes.
- There will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The level of questions will be as per the educational qualification required for the post.

SSC Selection Post Qualifying Marks
Candidates who secure marks below the specified cut-off will not qualify for the next stage of the recruitment process. The minimum qualifying marks are as follows:
- Unreserved (UR) category: 30%
- OBC / EWS categories: 25%
- All other reserved categories: 20%
Resolution of Tie Cases
If two or more candidates have the same normalised scores in the Computer-Based Examination (CBE), the tie will be broken using the following steps, applied one by one until the tie is resolved:
(a) Compare the total marks obtained in the Computer-Based Examination.
(b) Compare the marks scored in Part-A of the Computer-Based Examination.
(c) Compare the marks scored in Part-B of the Computer-Based Examination.
(d) Compare the marks scored in Part-C of the Computer-Based Examination.
(e) Consider the candidates’ dates of birth, giving preference to the older candidate.
(f) If the tie still persists, the candidate whose name comes first in alphabetical order will be ranked higher.
