The exam lasts for 2 hours and carries a total of 300 marks, with 3 marks awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark deducted for each incorrect response, emphasizing the need for accuracy.

    One notable change in the AFCAT Math Exam Pattern 2025 is the increase in the number of math questions from 18 to 20. Additionally, the AFCAT Subject-Wise Exam Pattern 2025 remains the same for both Technical and Non-Technical branches, and the EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) is no longer conducted. In the AFCAT Subject Wise Weightage for the 2025 exam, The English section leads the way with 30 questions, contributing 90 marks to your total score.     The General Awareness Section of the AFCAT Exam consists of 25 Questions giving 75 Marks to candidates our of 300. Most of the Questions in the General Awareness section comes from important AFCAT topics like Defence Current Affairs, Defence Equipments and missiles, Static GK topics etc.

    1. History and Geography: National and international historical events and geographical facts.
    2. Sports: Major national and international sporting events.
    3. National & International Organizations: Knowledge of key organizations such as the UN, WHO, etc.
    4. Art & Culture: Indian culture, famous personalities, and classical arts.
    5. Environment & Ecology: Basic environmental science, ecological concerns, and sustainability.
    6. Indian Polity and Economy: Indian government structure, major economic principles, and current policies.
    7. Science & Technology: Basic scientific knowledge and advancements in tech.

    AFCAT Syllabus 2025 for Maths

    Minimum number of questions is seen from Maths section only. A total of 20 Questions are asked in the AFCAT Maths Section. The AFCAT Maths syllabus only includes chapters on Arithmetic maths. Advanced maths is not asked in the AFCAT Exam 2025. The Important topics for AFCAT maths include:-
