The Online Exam of SSC MTS 2018 is scheduled from December 2018 to January 2019. Candidates can check exam dates for SSC MTS 2018 in the table given below.

SSC or Staff Selection Commission conducts Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) every year in 2 different stages. It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify both these stages of examination in order to make it to the merit list prepared by SSC prepared at the end.
The Application Fee for SSC MTS 2017 is Rs. 100/- candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee for SSC MTS 2017 exam.
The examination of SSC MTS 2018 will be conducted in 2 different levels: Paer-1 and Paper-2.Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in Englishor any other language listed in the government policies.
As SSC MTS 2018 is going to be conducted online, major changes have been made in the exam pattern of SSC MTS 2018 Exam. The number of questions asked in General Awareness and General English Section has been reduced from 50 to 25. The overall duration of completing the paper has also been reduced from 120 minutes to 90 minutes.

SSC will be releasing the SSC MTS 2018 syllabus for SSC MTS 2018 in its notification. The syllabus for SSC MTS is different for both the stages of examination and it’s mandatory for students to know the entire syllabus in order to prepare effectively for SSC MTS 2017.Paper-1 of SSC MTS 2018 exam includes subjects such as Reasoning, English and General Awareness. There are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfil in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2017 Exam. Let’s have a look at all these three criteria:
Nationality: A candidate is required to be
Age: A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2018. Apart from the pre mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

Admit card for SSC MTS 2018 will be issued sequentially to all candidates. Admit card for Paper-1 will be releaased first followed by Admit Card for Paper-2. SSC MTS Admit Card for Paper-2 will be issued to candidates who have successfully cleared the first phase of SSC MTS 2018 Exam. SSC will be declaring result for SSC MTS 2018 after the exama for each phase has been conducted by Staff Selection Commission of India. The Result of Paper-1 will decide the number of candidates eligible to give descriptive paper (Paper-2) of SSC MTS 2018 Exam.
The cut-off for SSC MTS 2018 will be declared once the examination for the same is conducted and the result has been declared. The cut-off will depend upon the level of difficultyof the SSC MTS 2018 Exam as well as the number of candidates appearing for the exam.

Numerical Ability: Prepare topics such as Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Mensuration, Time and distance, Average, Number System, Algebra and Data Interpretation. Divide time accordingly for each topic and consult good books to prepare for this section.
English Language: Cloze Test, Reading Comprehension and Error Spotting and Correction are three major sections that you need to focus on while preparing for this section.
General Awareness: Learn from Static GK, Latest Current Afffairs, Sports etc. to prepare effectively for General Awareness Section.
Reasoning: Focus on the areas of Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagram, Blood Relation and Verbal and Non Verbal Reasoning. Try to solve as many questions as you can to get acquainted with the type of questions being asked in this section.
