The notification for SSC MTS 2019 exam has been finally released by Staff Selection Commission of India. SSC MTS 2019 Paper-1 & Paper-II Exam Dates has been released in official notification for SSC MTS 2019 released by SSC on 22nd April 2019.
We know that SSC MTS 2019 will be conducted in two stages:
- Paper 1 and
- Paper 2
SSC introduced a considerable amount of changes in last years' SSC MTS Online Examination. The Exam Pattern for SSC MTS 2019 is similar to last years'. Let’s have a look at both these stages of examination one by one
SSC MTS 2019 Exam Pattern (Paper 1)
Paper 1 of SSC MTS will be conducted online from 2nd August 2019 to 6th September 2019. Number of questions asked in General Awareness and General English Section has been reduced from 50 to 25. The overall duration of completing the paper has also been reduced from 120 minutes to 90 minutes.

SSC MTS 2019 Exam Pattern (Paper 2)
Paper 2 of SSC MTS 2019 will be a descriptive Paper to test the writing skills of a candidate. A candidate has to write a short essay or letter in English or any other Language as mentioned under the 8th schedule of the Constitution of India to clear this examination.

Penalty for wrong answers
0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in Paper-1. Candidates are thus required to attempt every question carefully. There will be no negative marking in Paper-2 of SSC MTS 2019
Final Selection
The final selection of a candidate through SSC MTS 2019 will be made on the basis of marks obtained by a candidate in Paper1 and Paper2. The cumulative score of both these examinations will be taken into consideration for the final selection of candidate through SSC MTS 2019 Exam.
