For Written Examination: This is an online written exam constituting of 4 sections to be completed in a time span of 120 minutes. Around 100 questions are asked carrying 1 mark each. 1/4th of the total mark of a particular question is deducted if attempted wrong by a candidate.

Educational Qualification: A Candidate must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or boardwhile applying for SSC GD Constable (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen).
Age Limit: A Candidate is needed to be between 18 to 23 years. Certain Age relaxation is given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per the government rules and laws.

Physical Standard Required for SSC GD 2017

SSC will release SSC GD Result 2017 after the examination has been conducted for the same. The final selection of candidates will be determined after a candidate clears all the three phases of SSC GD Exam.
