SSC or Staff Selection Commission conducts Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL) every year in 4 different stages. The Vacancy for SSC CGL 2018 will be released soon. As per last years' notification released by SSC, a total of 8089 vacancies were to be filled by SSC CGL 2017 exam. These vacancies have been created in the department of Income Tax, Excise and Custom. As per latest press release by Staff Selection Commission of India, a new vendor has been selected to conduct all SSC Exams. This new vendor is - TCS, that will be responsible for conducting recruitment process of all SSC Exams. With this new announcement we are expecting that the exam dates for various SSC Exams will be released soon.
As per SSC calendar 2018-19, SSC CGL 2018 Paper 1 has been extended until further notice. The online application for SSC CGL Tier I 2018 exam started from 5th May 2018. SSC CGL 2018 Tier-III will be conducted soon. The dates will be soon released by Staff Selection Commission of India.

A candidate is required to be citizen of India, must fall under prescribed age limit and must hold the required educational qualification in order to be eligible for various posts offered through SSC CGL 2018.
The Application Fee for SSC CGL 2018 will be Rs. 100/- Although candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen category are exempted from paying the application fee. In addition to this, female candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee.
The examination of SSC CGL 2018 will be conducted in 4 different levels known as tiers. Tier-I and Tier-II exam will be objective multiple choice conducted online. Tier-III is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in both English and Hindi. Tier-IV is basically a Computer Proficiency Test designed to test a candidate’s skills in Computer.
