Question

This question is based on the five, three-digit numbers given below.
(Left) 567 248 351 946 846 (Right)
(Example- 697 – First digit = 6, second digit = 9 and third digit = 7)
NOTE - All operations to be done from left to right.
What will be the resultant if the third digit of the highest number is added to the second digit of the lowest number?

A.

7

B.

8

C.

9

D.

10

Correct option is D

Given: (Left) 567 248 351 946 846 (Right)
Highest - 946
Third digit of 946 = 6
Lowest - 248
Second digit of 248 = 4
Add these two digits
6 (from 946) + 4 (from 248) = 10
10 will be the resultant if the third digit of the highest number is added to the second digit of the lowest number.
Thus, correct option is (d).
