Question

This question is based on the five, three-digit numbers given below.
(Left) 458 652 483 617 456 (Right)
(Example- 697 – First digit = 6, second digit = 9 and third digit = 7)
(NOTE: All operations to be done from left to right.)
What will be the resultant if the third digit of the highest number is added to the second digit of the lowest number?

A.

7

B.

9

C.

12

D.

11

Correct option is A

Given: (Left) 458 652 483 617 456 (Right)
Highest number = 652
Third digit of 652 = 2
Lowest number = 456
Second digit of 456 = 5
Add the two digits
2 (from highest) + 5 (from lowest) = 7
So, 7 will be the resultant if the third digit of the highest number is added to the second digit of the lowest number.
Thus, correct option is (a).
